We had our dinner at Nam Nam at Raffles City as the boy had been craving for Viet food since ages ago. There was already a queue over there and I decided to join the line first and hopefully get a table soon so he wouldn't have to wait when he reached. So thoughtful of me right?I knew he would be starving like mad since he only had wanton noodles in the early afternoon. And indeed,I managed to get 2 seats facing the kitchen and went on to order for us.I took a picture of the order chit for him instead of the menu cos he mentioned that he wanted Beef Pho but there were a few variations to it.For me,I don't take beef so I ordered Chicken Pho.The pictures below are not very clear but their website does show the menu and the prices so feel free to check it out at http://namnamnoodlebar.com.sg/.
Besides the 2 bowls of Pho,we ordered a glass of lime soda.We wanted to order 2 glasses cos this guy was super thirsty after work but cos it was a little pricey for a glass of drink so I let him have it while I had just a sip.It was a super refreshing drink and I kinda liked it.Here's our main dishes!

The boy's Beef Combi Pho |
His bowl of Beef Pho came first so I told him to eat first.I know how horrible it feels to be hungry and thirsty haha.He was complimenting how nice the broth tasted and the noodles were so soft and smooth such that it could just slide down his throat.Okay a little exaggerating. The noodles looked a little like those Phad Thai noodles.I believe his soup would taste different from mine cos his was beef while mine was chicken.I didn't try his cos I didn't like the taste of beef.
My Chicken Pho |
Overall,I had a great experience at Nam Nam Noodle Bar and would look forward to a second visit to try their sandwiches and probably small bites.
After dinner,we did a little window shopping and then decided to chillax at O' Coffee Club. This reminded me of Zhiwei cos she used to work at the outlet at IMM.This was my first time dining at O' Coffee Club cos I had always been a loyal supporter of TCC since that was where I used to work at.We took quite a while to decide what to drink and in the end I settled for their Iced Lychee Passion Fruit Tea while the boy ordered Iced Cappuccino.
My drink tasted like I was on cloud nine. The sweetness was just right and the combination of lychee and passion fruit was perfect!Thumbs up for the right order made! While drinking,I felt like having some light bites but I was so sad to hear that they ran out of potatoes so I couldn't order one of those I had in mind.So we ended up with this Gooey Chocolate Monkey Tart. The name sounds interesting doesn't it?It tastes as good too.Okay I am just so satisfied with whatever food and drinks I had today.Great saturday night!
